We visited the museum to learn about our bodies.
We have also been learning new magic 'e' words with u_e, such as tube, lube.
We have been preparing for our conferences too and practising our mihi. Last week the whole school was involved in a 'Powhiri', or Maori welcome. What a wonderful step for Fendalton school. We even shared some kai (food) together afterwards.
Last week we had a cricket coaching session with Lee and Maike from Canterbury Cricket. We played 'Rob the Nest', practised some catching and throwing and some batting skills. It was loads of fun.
Don't forget Monday 7 September is school photos. Tuesday 8 September we are visiting the NZ Army Band leaving school at 9.45am returning to school by 12.00.
Wednesday 9 and Thursday 10 September are the student led conferences. We look forward to seeing you there!
