MONDAY WEEK 6

This week we are visiting the Canterbury Museum on Wednesday to learn about our bodies.  We have been learning about how to look after our bodies and now our focus is how to keep ourselves warm.  

This week our blend focus is o_e words, such as globe, joke, poke.  We know that if we add a silent e to the end of a word, it will make the first vowel say its name, eg rod becomes rode.

Today, we also attended assembly with Mr Sibson.  Wearing correct uniform, playing sensible and safe games during play times and being a responsible assembly audience were some of the things Mr Sibson spoke about today.  

For topic today we talked about how animals keep themselves warm.  Some have fur, but sometimes they need to find another way to warm themselves up.  Black bears grow more fur in the winter time, and then moult when the weather warms up.
