TODAY IN TEAM 12

I have learnt that we need to put our spelling words into sentences.  By Hamish

At USSR time, we need to make sure we pick a book to read (or two) that we can read well so we can learn and enjoy reading.  By Nell and Jonty.

In maths we are exploring shapes.  We learnt how to draw shapes using a ruler.  By Olivia.

I learnt that there is a shape with ten sides.  It is called a decagon. By Renzo.

We have just started reading a book called 'The Witches' by Roald Dahl. By Bethany.

We've been writing recounts.  A recount is something that has happened.  We did a plan for our story.  By Moe and Sophie.

Recounts have - 5ws - WHEN, WHO, WHERE, HOW, WHY and WHAT.  By Heawane, Renzo, Olivia C, Stephanie and Nell.

DONT FORGET OUR JUNIOR ASSEMBLY TOMORROW AT 2.30 IN THE VILLAGE...we have been practising a very special waiata to share with you!!

HEROES MUFTI DAY next TUESDAY 30 JUNE.  Children dress up as a hero and bring a gold coin, which will go to the school's sponsored child in Malawi named Andrew.
