A man in Dunedin got arrested for taking rubbish out of the rubbish skip at Countdown. After he takes the rubbish out, he has been giving it away. He says that Countdown is wasting heaps of food and other items that shouldn't be thrown away. Countdown thinks he is trespassing and stealing. The man has been arrested.
We had an interesting discussion about this in Team 12 today. We wondered whether this man was being a hero or a villain. Most of us said we thought he was a hero, because he was taking the food and giving to the poor people. Some of us said he was breaking the law which made him a villain. What do you think?
